Ms. Ellen
Ms. Ellen
Ms. Ellen has over 30 years’ experience within the Early Childhood arena. She was one of the founding members of EEA and worked closely with the owner to establish the center and set up all policies and guidelines. Ellen loves reading to children and helping teachers overcome challenging behaviors within the classrooms. Ms. Ellen has many years of experience that the teachers and parents utilize to help EEA offer the best educational program possible. Ellen loves to help mentor leadership within EEA and share her wealth of knowledge. Ellen has worked in multiple different Early Childhood Education settings and has her degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood. In addition to working at EEA, Ellen is active within her church and has a 16 year old and a 19 year old that keep her busy.
Ms. LaTanya
Ms. LaTanya
Ms. LaTanya has been with Early Explorers Academy since the beginning. Ms. LaTanya is incredibly gifted when it comes to working with children, parents and staff. She began working as a lead teacher. Since that time, Ms. LaTanya has been a teacher in every classroom within the building. Ms. Tanya has a lot of love that she pours into Early Explorers. She is gifted at calming upset children, helping parents’ problem solve and offering patience when things are a little crazy. She has 15 years of experience in childcare and has been the Assistant Director at Early Explorers Academy for over 2 years. Ms. LaTanya has her Child Development Associate Certification and has her Childcare Director’s License with the state of Missouri. Currently she is enrolled in college, continuing her Early Childhood Education classes while working full time at EEA.
Ms. Amy
Ms. Amy
Ms. Amy has been working within an early childhood education setting for almost 20 years. She is currently serving as the Program Director at EEA. Amy enjoys building a deep, personal connection with all the children and families at the center. Amy genuinely loves the families that she works with and believes that all children are deserving of love. Amy is passionate about helping EEA offer quality programs while keeping things fun and enriching for the children. Amy studied Early Childhood Education in college and is pursuing her Child Development Associate Certificate. Amy has 3 biological children, 2 bonus children and recently welcomed her first grandchild.
Ms. Sarah
Ms. Sarah
Ms. Sarah founded Early Explorers Academy Inc. in 2014. She and her husband started EEA to fill a void of quality and affordable care in the Creve Coeur area. Sarah worked a corporate, full-time, job and relied on full-time childcare before she transitioned into the Early Childhood Education arena. This allows her to have a unique perspective and knowledge of the challenges that working parents face. Sarah truly loves children. She mainly focuses on administrative and back-office duties, but she works in the building weekly. It is likely that even if you don’t see Sarah, your children will know her because she visits the classrooms whenever she’s at the center. Sarah has almost 15 years of early childhood education experience in addition to being the mother to 3 children. She had a degree in business and is licensed to be a Childcare Director within the state of Missouri.
