This room is all about enrichment to provide a solid foundation for growth and development. Each child in this classroom is on their own schedule. Our goal is to mirror what the parents are doing at home to ease the transition into our learning center. It is important that our babies get plenty of attention and affection every day.
These babies love to explore! This is an amazing age for children to start investigating their environment. Children in this class are encouraged to play with toys, master their environment, begin to eat table food and start to walk. We also encourage each baby to explore their 5 senses through daily play and enrichment activities. Children in this class begin to communicate using sign language and basic verbal skills.
Toddlers in this room enjoy plenty of free play time as well as structured activities. Our toddlers love to parallel play and engage in activities with their teachers. Each day these students join in activities to support fine and gross motor development. Children are encouraged to participate in art activities and benefit from plenty of reading.
We love the terrific 2’s! These children enjoy learning about and mastering their environment. Our 2 year old classroom balances structured activities with free play. This classroom has plenty of art projects, learning activities and sensory play. Our 2’s develop strong friendship bonds and love to see their friends in class every day.
Our 2 preschool rooms are a great place to explore and grow. Our goal is to help all of our preschool friends begin to embrace age-appropriate academic milestones as well as start to practice appropriate school behavior. They spend plenty of time learning as they play during circle time, sensory time, language activities and outside play time and many other enriching activities. Children in these classes develop strong friendships that often continue after they graduate from Early Explorers Academy.
Early Explorers Academy wants to ensure that every child in our center is prepared for Kindergarten. We work closely with local school districts to prepare our students academically and socially. These students benefit from using multiple learning activities and structured classroom time. We also recognize the importance of free time and imaginative play within this class. This class also works daily to enhance their learning experience by participating in arts/crafts, games, social/emotional exercises, science experiments and many other enriching activities.
